Hand a workspace to the client
For
Practitioners
You need
The address of the client’s administrator, at the domain on the client’s profile.
Result
The workspace in the client’s tenant, and a read-only copy for you.

Steps

  1. On Hand over this workspace, check who the workspace is for and who can claim it: an administrator at the client’s domain, signing in with the client’s own identity provider.

  2. Read what moves to the client and what stays with you, then choose Hand this workspace to the client on Hand over this workspace. It asks for the administrator’s address and a fresh sign-in code.

  3. While the claim is pending, the workspace is read-only for you. The link stays open 14 days, and you can take the handover back until it is claimed.

  4. The administrator accepts or declines it on A workspace handed over to you, in the client’s tenant.

  5. After the claim, open your read-only copy: entries, versions, findings, and each file’s name and hash.

Good to know

  • For your own institution, the workspace moves. Everything goes to your institution’s tenant, files included, and you keep no copy.
  • If the claim is declined or the link expires, nothing moves, and the workspace is yours again.
  • After the claim, the client pays for its own tenant, and your subscription is unchanged. The client may invite you back as an adviser, under its own sign-in.
  • A frozen workspace can still be handed over. The claim opens it again in the client’s tenant.
