Terms
These terms are offered by GovernanceOS by iSystematic Inc., Canada-based. Placeholder text for layout. The final text is written by counsel.
1. About the examples
Nebula Mutual, Nebula Gulf Bank, Nebula Regional Health and Northline Advisory are fictional institutions constructed for illustration; any resemblance to a real organization is unintended. They come from the Nebula case universe, a set of fictional institutions. People are shown as roles (CRO, data lead, actuary, CISO, practitioner), never as names. Vendor names such as Corvane, Verrick, Meridian Language Systems and Northlight are fictional too. Regulators and instruments are real. Each status comes from the corpus with the date it was checked; the GCC rows are re-checked before launch.
2. These terms
These terms cover the public site, the public corpus and the practitioner tier. Institution tenants are governed by institution terms, agreed with each institution. [Placeholder.]
3. The trial
At launch, practitioners join by invitation, and the 7-day trial starts when the access code is entered. Professional addresses start the trial with no card; at the end you subscribe with a card or a promo code. If you have not subscribed when the trial ends, your workspaces freeze: no reads and no writes, and one export file is made for you to download. Subscribing within 90 days restores everything; after 90 days the workspaces and the file are deleted.
Personal email addresses join by invitation from a verified practitioner, or with a card on file. On that path the card is charged on day 7 unless you cancel before; the amount and the date are shown before you confirm. [Placeholder: subscription and cancellation terms, written by counsel.]
4. Your records
Your records are yours. Reads and exports of institution tenants are never gated by a contract. [Placeholder.]
5. Self-declared conformance
Statements of conformance on this site are self-declared. GovernanceOS does not certify institutions or their AI systems itself: by design, institution certification is run by an assessment body independent of GovernanceOS, and until that body is in place and accredited, no institution is certified. The certification path issues credentials to people: each one validates that its holder can produce, on records, the evidence its level states, as assessed on the date shown. A credential is not a license to practice, is not accredited, and is not reviewed or endorsed by any regulator. [Placeholder.]
6. Liability
[Placeholder.]
7. Governing law
[Placeholder: a Canadian province, to be named by counsel.]
8. The practitioner directory
Listed, not endorsed. GovernanceOS does not certify, recommend or vouch for anyone listed. A listing is not an approval of the practitioner or of their work.
A listing shows what the practitioner gave us and chose to show. Credentials are as the practitioner states them. A regulated title, such as a professional accounting or legal title, is checked on its issuer's public register before it is shown.
Every listing is approved by hand, and GovernanceOS may decline or remove a listing. A listing is re-confirmed every 12 months or it lapses. A practitioner can unlist at any time; the listing goes offline within 2 business days.
Messages to a practitioner go through a relay: plain text only, with links and attachments removed, up to 5 messages a day from one sender. Practitioners reply from their own address if they choose. GovernanceOS does not vouch for what is said in a message.
