Ask a point-in-time question
For
Examiners and auditors
You need
An open examiner key.
Result
The matching records, as of the dates you asked about. Every read is logged.

Steps

  1. On Query, type a question that names a system, a gate (G1 to G5) or a date range, and choose Ask.

  2. Read How the question was read on the answer: the records, the state, the dates, the evidence and the systems. Change any part and choose Update the answer.

  3. Read each matching record on the answer: the gate, the approver and token, the evidence hash, the record hash, its chain position and the pack that holds it.

  4. Keep the Permalink to this answer on the answer. It brings back the same records for the same reading and time. Or choose Export CSV, with the hashes, tokens and chain positions.

Good to know

  • Dates are YYYY-MM-DD.
  • Every field is written by the system unless it carries typed, which marks a value a person entered.
  • When no records match, nothing was held back: the key reads every record in its scope.
  • A question about another institution needs a key from that institution.
