Statement date 2026-10-18
Accessibility
GovernanceOS commits to WCAG 2.2 level AA before any public launch. This statement covers the prototype as it stands.
What we measured
- Text contrast on every page, in light and dark mode: no failures.
- No sideways scrolling at 360 pixels wide, in light and dark mode.
- Every page has a language, a title and a skip link; every image has a text alternative; every field has a label.
- Tables that stack on phones keep their table roles for screen readers.
- Motion switches off when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Every link, button, toggle, checkbox and radio is at least 24 by 24 pixels; links inside a sentence keep the standard’s exception for links in text.
- Type uses the bundled faces and one size scale on every page, so nothing is faked or blurred by the browser.
What is not finished
- Some prototype screens do not yet show every error and empty state.
- Screen-reader testing with users has not been done.
Tell us about a barrier
Use the support form. You need no plan and no account, and any email address works. Say what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We treat a barrier that blocks a task as a fault, not a request.
