Signed in with a recovery code. 7 codes left.
If you lost your phone, set up the authenticator again now. That makes new recovery codes, and the old ones stop working.
Lost your phone and your recovery codes
We can turn off the authenticator on your account. To protect you, it works like this:
- We email a code to practice@northline.example. You type it to start.
- We wait [waiting period] before turning the authenticator off. We email the address when the wait starts and when it ends.
- If you did not ask for this, the link in that email stops it.
- When the wait ends, you sign in with an email code and set up the authenticator again.
The waiting period is set before launch.
We sent a six-digit code to practice@northline.example. It works for 10 minutes.
The wait started at 09:20 CT. We emailed practice@northline.example.
The authenticator turns off when the wait ends. If you find your phone first, sign in with it and the request stops.
